HENRY TOI

Managing Director of Buzan Centre Asia, Henry Toi holds a Master of
Education from RMIT University and a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) from the National University of Singapore. He is currently pursuing his doctoral
studies with Leicester University.

Prior to establishing Buzan Centre Asia, Henry worked for premier
organisations such as The Monetary Authority of Singapore, Shell
Petroleum, Standard Chartered Bank and OCBC Asset Management.

Among some of Henry's clients are J Walter Thompson Asia-Pacific, Cerebos
Pacific, Schroeders Asia, BP Asia, IBM Southeast Asia, Singapore General
Hospital, The National Council of Social Services, Oracle Corporation and
the Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation

ERIC CHEONG

Eric Cheong is the Sales and Marketing Director of Buzan Centre Asia Ltd and a certified Master Trainer for the Buzan’s iMindMap™ software. He is also responsible for the regional development of Buzan Centres located in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Philippines, India and Korea.

Prior to his current role, he has been in the IT industry – mainly, the Internet and Telecommunications sectors for more than 13 years. He has undertaken the sales, marketing and channel sales functions in CyberWay, SingTel and Pacific Internet, and has achieved proven sales results and pioneering projects since Internet began its infancy in Singapore

In order to understand the needs of his clients better, Eric makes it a point to find time to conduct Buzan trainings regularly. Some of the clients trained by him include Singapore National Heritage Board, Oracle Hong Kong, Intel Malaysia and UniSIM Singapore. Eric graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree with honours at the National University of Singapore.

TAN KWAN LIANG

Associate Trainer at the Singapore Civil Service College since the year
2000, Kwan Liang holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the
National University of Singapore.

Prior to becoming a Buzan Instructor, Kwan Liang spent more then 15 years
in management as well as business development.

Some of Kwan Liang's clients include MacDonald's Restaurants Singapore,
The National Council of Social Services & the Union Bank of Switzerland,
just to name a few.

Betty Kan

Ms Betty Kan graduated with honours in Business Administration from San Francisco State University. She is a Certified Professional Trainer (IPMA, UK) and a Certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner (NFNLP, USA). She is also a Personal Branding Consultant with Image Coach International Pte Ltd, Associate Lecturer at the Singapore Institute of Management University, as well as a Licensed Instructor teaching Tony Buzan’s innovative and creative thinking programmes. She is a member of the Singapore Training and Development Association.

Her prior professional history involved working with renowned lawyers in the United States, handling public relations, marketing and business development functions for over a decade. As the Director of Client Services, Betty is adept at communicating and working with multicultural individuals from all over the United States, Mexico, and Asia. She was awarded a Bronze medal for outstanding achievement in Service Excellence by the World Journal, a top
Asian newspaper agency in the United States. Her corporate experiences span across major industries in the international airlines, financial & legal sectors since 1985. Betty had also conducted public workshops on Creativity & Personal Branding Programmes in Singapore.

Betty has a diverse cultural background having spent 16 years in the United States and Japan. She is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin. Her outstanding professionalism and rich working experiences have helped her to develop valuable life skills in communication, innovation & creativity, client services, personal effectiveness as well as grooming and presentation. She believes in the power of maximising one’s potential by improving and changing oneself from the inside out. Her passion is in helping individuals be the best they
can be.

Thum Cheng Cheong

Thum Cheng Cheong has been a practising lawyer since 1986 before joining the Singapore banking industry as a Legal Counsel.  Having worked in both local and foreign banks for about 16 years, he has gained valuable experience in the operations, risks and controls functions. Besides providing legal advice, Thum was actively involved in business process redesign and ISO certification and has also conducted training for his staff.  

After attending Tony Buzan’s workshop, Thum was greatly inspired by the guru and began his Mind Mapping journey as a Buzan Licensed Instructor in 2007.  Between juggling his time in corporate legal work and participating in Buzan projects, Thum has achieved a series of breakthroughs in the area of Mind Mapping art:

1. Conferred by Buzan Centre Asia as The Mind Map Artist for the world's largest Mind Map unveiled in Singapore (2007);
2. Commissioned by a commercial organisation to mind map the company's philosophy, awards and manufacturing process for the best selling health tonic product ‘Brand's Essence of Chicken’;
3. Successfully incorporated cartoons and art into Mind Maps. Some of Thum’s Mind Maps were shortlisted for a national art competition and featured on "Artlander” - a Singapore television program;

Thum has a vision to promote Mind Mapping as a form of art – which he believed will greatly developed the right and left brain skills.  Thum holds an LLB (Hons) from the National University of Singapore.

Lim Choon Boo

Choon Boo is currently a Principal Lecturer at the Multidiscipline
Engineering Division of the school of Engineering, Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

A Mind Mapper since 1996, Choon Boo became a Buzan Instructor in 1999.
He has been teaching Mind Mapping since then for the Engineering, Human Resource and Learning Centre of Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

With more than 25 years of industrial, educational and managerial
experience, Choon Boo has taught Mind Mapping® at companies such
as SingTel, the CAAS, the Ministry of Education, the National Library Board, SembCorp Industries, Singapore Quality Institute and ST Microelectronics.

IAN PATRICK DYASON

Holder of an MBA from Leicester University, Ian has conducted Mind Mapping® workshops for organisations such as Channel News Asia, the Housing & Development Board, the Ministry of Defence, Dell, UOB Group, Novartis, BP Singapore, the National University of Singapore, the Building & Construction Authority and Brunei Shell Petroleum Company.

Prior to entering the field of training and consulting, Ian spent many years at The Ministry of Defence, specialising in Strategic Planning.

Ian earned his first degree in Engineering at the National University of Singapore through a government scholarship.

WONG PENG WAI

Holder of an MBA from Sheffield University in the United Kingdom, Wong Peng Wai is the first person in Asia to be certified as a Buzan Instructor in 1993 and has conducted more than 1,000 Mind Mapping workshops since then.

His clients include organisations such as Singapore Airlines, DBS Bank,
Texas Instruments, Keppel Insurance, American International Assurance,
Asia Matsushita, The Port of Singapore Authority, The Monetary Authority
of Singapore, The Ministry of Defence & PWD Consultants just to name a few.

Prior to entering the field of training and consulting, Peng Wai was Head
of Information Technology at Citibank Investment Banking and Consulting
Manager at the Union Bank of Switzerland.

Tan Buck Chye

Dr. Tan Buck Chye is the Managing Director of Tony Buzan Learning Centre in Singapore.

He graduated from the National University of Singapore with direct honours in Accountancy in 1984 and subsequently a Masters in Business Administration. He also has a Doctorate in Business Administration and an advanced Postgraduate diploma in consultancy from the Henley Management College in the UK.

Dr. Tan was previously a senior Business Manager with the Standard Chartered Bank, Chief Executive of Europa Holdings Pte Ltd, Vice Chairman of China United Pure Water Company and Chairman of The Beverage Company of Asia in China.

Dr Tan is also the pioneer of the Buzan 5-Step Learning Plan® for nurturing life-long learners. He published a research paper with the Henley Management College UK in early 2006 on developing intelligences and presented this paper as a Conference Speaker in the ASCD 2007 Conference in Anaheim, LA United States.

Dilip Mukerjea

Dilip is an engaging and versatile public speaker, whose accomplishments have been recognised and recorded in the Who's Who of the World as well as the Baron's 500: Leaders for the New Century.

Among Dilip's clients are Citibank, Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, Deutsche
Bank, Sinclair Roche & Temperley, JP Morgan Chase, The Walt Disney Company, Four Seasons Hotel, Temasek Holdings, The Economist Intelligence Unit, Nokia, ST Microelectronics, DHL and Federal Express, just to name a few.

Dilip was trained as a Marine Engineer in the United Kingdom where he won
first place in the UK final exams for the year 1979 as well as winning 2 internationally acclaimed awards for securing top marks in all his subjects.
